[ Introduction: leader picks child to knock on bin, everyone calls 'come out Stinky!', Stinky comes out singing his intro tune ]
STINKY: [Sings softly, scared; peeks just out of bin, looks around afraid] Hello little monkeys...
LEADER: Hello Stinky!
STINKY: [Panicky, ducks in bin] Ahhrgh!
LEADER: What is it Stinky? Are you OK?
STINKY: [Peeks out slowly, looks around scared] Oh... I heard something. I thought it was one of those baddies...
LEADER: [Looks around] Ah, no Stinky, no baddies here.
STINKY: Ah, good. I'm feeling really scared.
LEADER: Really? Why?
STINKY: Well, last night I watched a few scary movies. There were lots of baddies.
LEADER: Oh, I see...
STINKY: Some of them were really powerful! Ahhhrgh! [Ducks down again, afraid]
LEADER: Stinky, it's OK...
STINKY: [Comes out] Oh, I thought I heard something. Maybe it's the White Witch -- she's got the magic powers!
LEADER: No, she's not here Stinky.
STINKY: Oh, or maybe it's the baddie from King Fu Panda -- he's got the Kung Fu powers! Maybe he's hiding behind that door...
LEADER: No Stinky, it's OK.
STINKY: OK... There are so many baddies... Hey Mr Nathan, which is the baddest baddie? The most powerful? Who is the boss baddie?
LEADER: Well Stinky, it doesn't really matters.
STINKY: Really?! Why?
LEADER: Because Jesus is the boss of everything.
STINKY: He's got powers?
LEADER: Oh yes. Let's see Ephesians chapter 1, verses 20 and 21.

LEADER: See? Jesus is above every power and authority.
STINKY: Oh... But where is Jesus now?
LEADER: Ah! He is seated on his throne, in the heavenly places. He's not hiding around like a movie baddie!
STINKY: But how do we know he's so powerful?
LEADER: Because he rose from the dead! God worked his great power in Jesus when He raised Jesus from the dead.
STINKY: So... we should be scared of Jesus?
LEADER: No, no. He's not just powerful. He's powerful and kind. Kids, what do you think we should do about Jesus? [Get responses] Yes, we should trust him instead.
STINKY: Oh, I think I need help with that.
LEADER: Well, that's what we do at church -- we help each other trust Jesus. The Bible says the church is a bit like a body. Jesus is our head. What a gift!
STINKY: Thank you! So what's the Bible Bite for today?
LEADER: Let's see!

LEADER: OK Stinky, it's your turn...
STINKY: Ah... The white witch does Kung Fu like a boss.
STINKY: Stinky! Let's say it again together. [Read with children]
LEADER: How about we pray now?
STINKY: Oh, yes please!
LEADER: OK: Dear God, please help us trust Jesus, the boss of everything. Help us to see our hope with you, to see how much you have blessed us, and to see your power. We trust you can do this by your Holy Spirit and by your great power. In Jesus name, Amen.
STINKY: Oh, I don't feel so scared now -- thank you! I better go now. Bye bye little monkeys!
