[ Introduction: leader picks child to knock on bin, everyone calls 'come out Stinky!', Stinky comes out singing his intro tune ]
STINKY: Who is it?
LEADER: Come out Stinky!
STINKY: Oh it's the little monkeys!
LEADER: How are you Stinky?
STINKY: Oh, I'm a bit sad! Look at my plant here. It was my FAVOURITE plant -- but now it's dead!
LEADER: Oh no, that's really sad. I had a plant and it died too.
STINKY: Yeah, and its got me thinking -- death is everywhere. Little pets die too, don't they?
LEADER: Yes Stinky, it's really sad, but animals and pets die.
STINKY: What about people? People die too?!
LEADER: Yes Stinky, people die too. It's really sad!
STINKY: How about really strong people? Or really rich people? Or really important people, like kings and presidents?
LEADER: No Stinky, in the end, death wins with everyone.
STINKY: Hmmm it sounds like death is our worst enemy! It's everywhere, and in the end it beats everyone.
LEADER: Yes Stinky, you're right. Death is our worst enemy, and we're not strong enough to defeat it.
STINKY: Is anyone strong enough to beat death?
LEADER: What a good question Stinky! Well, who can remember what is special about today? What do we remember today?
[ Kids responses ]
LEADER: Well, let's see what Robbie the Robot finds in the Bible for us...

LEADER: Wow, that's a great bit of the Bible. Let's see if we can understand it:\ - Who has been raised from the dead?\ - What is the last enemy that Jesus will destroy?\ So Stinky, this part of the Bible tells us that Jesus has been raised from the dead, and that he's the first of many. Christ is the ruler/king, and he will win over all his enemies. And the last enemy he will destroy is death!
STINKY: Wow, so if we follow Jesus, we don't have to be sad or afraid of death, because he has won the fight with death, and will destroy it!
LEADER: That's right Stinky. Death is still sad, but we can have hope because one day Jesus will get rid of death forever!
STINKY: So what is the Bible Bite for today?

Oh Miss Pat, that's really good news. I feel a bit better now. I'm so glad that Jesus won over death and I'm glad we remember that today.
STINKY: Yes Stinky, it's great news.
LEADER: OK, I better go now. Thank you for teaching me that Jesus has defeated our worst enemy -- death. See you later little monkeys!
