LEADER: Hello everyone, I hope everyone is staying warm on this cold day. I'm glad Stinky is here, because I need to talk to him. We are going out after church, but I'm not sure where we are going. Let's see...

LEADER: Hello everyone, I hope everyone is staying warm on this cold June. I'm glad Stinky is here, because I need to talk to him. We are going out after church, but I'm not sure where we are going. I asked him to plan it. Let's see...

[Come out Stinky routine\ Stinky comes out with swimming goggles, towel]

STINKY: Hello little monkeys!

LEADER: Hello Stinky! Hey, what's with the goggles and the towel?

STINKY: We're going out, remember!

LEADER: Yeah... and where do you think we're going?

STINKY: For a swim! It'll be great.

LEADER: Ah, Stinky, I'm not going for a swim -- that's crazy! It's too cold today. Did you check today's weather like I told you?

STINKY: Nahh. I'll do it next week. I just want to go out for a swim!

LEADER: What do you mean next week? We're going out today. So you need to listen to the weather report today.

STINKY: No! I want to go swimming -- I don't want to listen to a weather report.

LEADER: Stinky, don't be stubborn. The best day to listen to today's weather report is ... today.

STINKY: Oh OK, I'll get today's weather report... [down, back up with paper, hand over to leader]. There you go...

LEADER: OK, let's see... here it is. "10 degrees, cold, cloudy, windy. Do not go swimming".

STINKY: Oh... I better get these goggles off then. Can you help me please? [goggles off]

LEADER: There you go.

STINKY: I'm glad we found today's weather report. I might have turned blue if I went swimming today.

LEADER: I think so!

STINKY: Hey Mr Nathan, I have a question. What's the best day to listen to God? When it's hot, or cold? When I'm happy, or grumpy?

LEADER: Today.

STINKY: Today?

LEADER: Today. Today is the best day to listen to God.

STINKY: Oh, so tomorrow I can listen to myself?

LEADER: Well, when you get to tomorrow, you will call it 'today'. But now, this day is 'today'. And today is always the best day to listen to God. Let's see what the Bible says.

[ Slide (verse): ]

[ You must encourage one another each day. And you must keep on while there is still a time that can be called "today." ... The Scriptures say, "If you hear his voice today, don't be stubborn like those who rebelled." - Hebrews 3:13-15 ]

LEADER: See? We need to encourage each other. And we need to listen to God. That's why we have church.

STINKY: Oh yes. And do it today?

LEADER: Yes, today - it's important we keep doing it and not put it off. Let's see our Bible Bite:

STINKY: Ah, let me see... Tomorrow is the worst day to go swimming. Is that right?

LEADER: Oh Stinky! Let's help Stinky. Let's read it together...

STINKY: Thank you! Hey Mr Nathan, do you feel like going to the movies in a nice warm cinema tonight?

LEADER: That sounds good Stinky!

STINKY: OK, I better go now and get ready. Bye bye little monkeys!
