[ Introduction: leader picks child to knock on bin, everyone calls 'come out Stinky!', Stinky comes out singing his intro tune ]
STINKY: [Distracted, looking down into bin] Oh, Hi Mr Dave... Hi little monkeys...
LEADER: [Excited, friendly] Hi Stinky! It's great to see you, how are you?
STINKY: [Looking down] Eh... yes, good... Hey, are you going to be long?
LEADER: [ Surprised ] What do you mean Stinky?
STINKY: Well, there's just somewhere else I'd rather be...
LEADER: [Shocked] Oh, Stinky! You usually like talking to me? And why do you keep looking down into your bin? What's down there? It's like you're not really with me.
STINKY: [Excited] Oh... My precious treasure box! It's a box where I keep all my treasures! My balloon, my flower, and my toy train! I just want to be where my treasure box is.
LEADER: Well Stinky, I'm afraid you have to choose where to be: either here with me, or down with your treasure box. You can't have both.
LEADER: Oh! [Shocked, looks at kids]
STINKY: Oh no!! My treasures!
LEADER: What's wrong Stinky? [Looks down]
STINKY: [Comes out slowly, sad, with treasure box] My treasures!
STINKY: Have a look... [hands box over to Dave]
LEADER: Oh, let's have a look for your treasures. Here's the balloon...
STINKY: Yes, it's busted!
LEADER: And here's the flower!
STINKY: Yes, it's withered and dead!
LEADER: Where is your toy train?
STINKY: Someone stole it!
LEADER: Oh, Stinky... this is really sad...
STINKY: Yes... Hey, Mr Dave, where is your treasure?
LEADER: Ah, my treasure is in heaven! Jesus is my treasure. [Confident]
STINKY: Jesus is your treasure? But what if he breaks or someone steals him?
LEADER: Jesus is the king of everything, he is stronger than everything and everyone.
STINKY: But what if he dies?
LEADER: He has already died, and he won that fight. He can't die again.
STINKY: But what if Jesus stops loving you?
LEADER: Jesus died for me! He won't stop loving me...
STINKY: Oh... Jesus sounds like a great treasure -- better than my things. What does the Bible say about treasures?
LEADER: Let's have a look!
[ Slide 1 ]
[Don\'t store up treasures on earth! Moths and rust can destroy them, and thieves can break in and steal them. Instead, store up your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy them, and thieves cannot break in and steal them. Your heart will always be where your treasure is... You cannot serve both God and money.\ - Matt 6:19-21, 24]
LEADER: Ah, Jesus said this! He tells us it's better to have your treasure in heaven, where it's safe. We have to choose between loving Jesus or loving things. Jesus is the best treasure!
STINKY: Oh. So what's our Bible Bite for today?
[Slide 2: Bible Bite\ Don't treasure things that can break. Make Jesus your treasure!\ [ Read out together] ]
LEADER: Stinky, do you think you can say the Bible Bite?
STINKY: Oh, let me see... Don't throw your treasure box up to heaven. It might break something!
LEADER: Oh, Stinky! Let's try again all together...
STINKY: Oh, I'm feeling better now. It wasn't smart to make those things my treasures. Jesus is the best treasure!
LEADER: That's right!
STINKY: Thank you Mr Dave! I better go now...
LEADER: Bye Stinky!
