[ Introduction: leader picks child to knock on bin, everyone calls 'come out Stinky!', Stinky comes out singing his intro tune ]

STINKY: Hello little monkeys!

LEADER: Hello Stinky!

STINKY: Oh, Mrs Pat, I'm so excited to see you and all the little monkeys!

LEADER: Really? Why is that Stinky?

STINKY: Well, I have something very special to give all the little monkeys. A gift! A yummy gift! I've got some lollies to give them!

LEADER: Wow, that sounds good!

STINKY: Yes, and there are enough lollies for anyone that wants one. I don't want anyone to miss out. Can you hand them out please Mrs Pat?

LEADER: Sure! I'm going to give one lolly to each of you, I want you to put it in your pocket for later. Let's see... [hand out one per child]. OK, Stinky, I think I'm done.

STINKY: Great! I don't want anyone to miss out. Are you sure that everyone has one?

Phoebie: Maggie didn't get one, she's not here. She's in crèche.

STINKY: Oh, how will she get one?

LEADER: Do you have any ideas Stinky?

STINKY: I know! We can wait for her to come here... [Waits, yawn]. No, I'm bored of waiting.

LEADER: That didn't work.

STINKY: I know! I can call out to her... [shouts] MAGGIE!!

LEADER: That didn't work.

STINKY: I know! We can throw the lolly her way. [throws a lolly, not far enough, fails].

LEADER: That didn't work.

STINKY: Nothing is working. But how will she get the gift unless she hears about it? How will she hear about it unless someone tells her? How will someone tell her unless someone goes to her? Oh, I don't want her to miss out!

Phoebie: I have an idea. I will go and take the gift to her.

LEADER: Thank you Phoebie!

STINKY: Phoebie is a good friend to Maggie... Hey Mrs Pat, I have a question.

LEADER: Yes Stinky.

STINKY: You know how God gives us the gift of salvation. Well, how can we make sure no one misses out?

LEADER: That's a good question Stinky! What do you think kids?

[ Hear suggestions ]

LEADER: Thank you! Well, you know there are people who haven't heard of God's gift of salvation. And there are people who leave home and go to tell them.

STINKY: That's kind!

LEADER: Yes! We call them missionaries. This is a photo of Helen Hoskins. She left home in Australia to go to Tanzania, in Africa, and tell others of God's gift! We pray for her and help provide for her at our church.

[ Slide (verse): ]

STINKY: Wow! Why did she go?

LEADER: Well, God tells us to, in the Bible. Let's see...

[ Slide (verse): Scripture says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." ^14 ^How can they call on him unless they believe in him? How can they believe in him unless they hear about him? How can they hear about him unless someone preaches to them? ^15 ^And how can anyone preach without being sent? It is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" ]

LEADER: See Stinky, God doesn't want anyone to miss out. So He tells us to go and tell those who haven't heard. Look, here comes Maggie.

[ Maggie ]: Hello! Thank you for my gift! And thank you for sending Phoebie to tell me -- that was very kind!

STINKY: You're welcome Maggie. I'm glad you didn't miss out.

LEADER: Me too! Now, let's see our Bible Bite:

[ Slide: Bible Bite: Go tell others of God's gift! ]

LEADER: OK, Stinky -- do you think you can say it?

STINKY: I'll try... Go and throw a lolly to me?

LEADER: No Stinky! Let's try again everyone.

STINKY: Thank you Mrs Pat. Oh, I forgot to give you a gift, here you go!

LEADER: Thank you Stinky.

STINKY: Oh, I better go now. Bye bye little monkeys!
