[ Introduction: leader picks child to knock on bin, everyone calls 'come out Stinky!', Stinky comes out singing his intro tune ]
STINKY: Who is it?
LEADER: Come out Stinky!
STINKY: Is Miss Tina out there?
LEADER: Uhmm... no...
STINKY: OK... Hello little monkeys, hello Miss Pat! [whispers, looks around]
LEADER: How are you Stinky?
STINKY: Shhh! Quiet! Miss Tina has a new perfume, and she's spraying it on people, and it smells really nice, uugh! It's disgusting! I'm worried she'll try to spray some on me, and then I'd smell 'really nice'! Uurgh!
[ Tina, off stage: 'Oh, I just love this perfume! [leave time for next two lines] ]
STINKY: She's coming! Help me Miss Pat!
LEADER: OK, ok, I'll just stand here in front of you!
Tina: [walks in loud and excited, sprays some on wrist and smells, maybe offers it to someone on way in] Oh I love it! Stinky! Miss Pat! Hello, want to try my new perfume?
LEADER: Thank you Tina! [takes some on wrist]
Tina: Want some Stinky!
STINKY: Aah! [hides behind Pat]
LEADER: Oh, I'll have Stinky's Miss Tina! [offers wrist]
Tina: Sure! Oh, I just love it... [walks off, still raving on, Pat moves away from Stinky]
STINKY: Oh... That was close! Thank you Miss Pat! You rescued me from smelling nice! You took the perfume instead of me! Oh, I'll never forget how you rescued me -- every time I smell my stinky smell, I'll remember how you rescued me!
LEADER: That's OK! Are you sure you'll always remember?
STINKY: Oh, yes, I could never forget!
LEADER: Hmm... You know, the grown ups today are learning about the Passover.
STINKY: The passy-whatty?
LEADER: Passover! It was a special meal that God gave his people Israel, so they'd never forget how He rescued them from Egypt.
STINKY: Wow! Did it smell nice?
LEADER: I think so! In the first month of the year, they had to pick a lamb without anything wrong with it. They'd cook on the fire, and put some of its blood outside their door, so they wouldn't die -- the lamb died in their place. And they'd eat it with special bread without yeast, and finish it all quickly before the morning.
STINKY: Yum! Hey Miss Pat, I just remembered! God rescued us when Jesus took our place on the cross! What if we forget His rescue? How can we remember?
LEADER: Well, Jesus said something amazing about the Passover. He said that it was really about him! He was the real perfect lamb who took our place, and his blood gives us life.
STINKY: Wow!
LEADER: You see, the Passover was like a reminder into the future, so that Israel would understand what Jesus was doing. And now we still have a meal of bread and wine, to remember God's rescue when Jesus took our place.
STINKY: That's amazing! It's a good thing to remember that God rescued us.
LEADER: That's right!
STINKY: Yes! I better go now. Thank you for teaching me about God Miss Pat! Bye little monkeys!
